Speak Easy
Under Prohibition the "manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors" was illegal in the United States. And the consumption of alcohol was higher during Prohibition than ever before. Illegal bars and clubs flourished and gangsters ran the hottest night spots with the hottest stars performing every night. The Speak Easy was a club where patrons could let their hair down and party like it's 1929 - til the cops raided the joint.
