Past Melbourne Lindy Exchanges have produced hundreds - if not thousands - of photos. These can be viewed at these events' sites.
We're interested in the photos you took over the MLX5 weekend: if you have hosted your photos online and are interested in sharing, please email a link to your photos to sam@mlx2005.com to be added to this page.
We did take a number of 'official' photos over the weekend (where 'official' should be read as 'whenever Dave wasn't dancing or sleeping'), which we're hosting off-site, at the below links.
Enjoy!
Promotional photos for the MLX5 site
This year we began the photos a little earlier, roping in Rob and Corinne for some promotional photos for the site itself. They spent an afternoon taking photos with Dave Cheney and came home with photos that were at times a little unsettling... But their enthusiasm and creativity were much appreciated.

Friday night's Come in Spinner dinner and Jook Joint Dance
A crowd of rowdy dancers drank and ate at a North Melbourne pub til it was time to dance... and then they kept drinking and rowding til the lindy bug moved them on.

Saturday Beer-and-Band and Crash and Boom Dance
Dancers were suprised by the Johnston Street Spanish Festival on the doorstep of the Laundry and took advantage of the fine food before moving in to prop up the bar, heckle the band (who heckled back) or dance like fools to Virus.
The JW Swing Orchestra entertained dancers who were far from crashing at the largest dance on Saturday night.

Sunday Last Huzzah Dance
Sunday night's dance ended the weekend with a filled-to-capacity dance floor and Perth's representatives on the DJing team. When closing time came, dancers were pried from the floor, reluctant to let the weekend end.
